Why do I feel tight and stiff even when I exercise regularly?

What is the Silent Shutdown Cycle?
The Silent Shutdown Cycle is the progressive shutdown of your Healthy Movement System. It is triggered by the everyday activities of life including sitting driving walking running and standing. When a joint loses end range motion the joint capsule restricts. The nervous system then shuts down the deep stabilizing muscles that support the joint. Larger compensation muscles take over.
It is called silent because most people cannot feel it happening until the damage is already significant. Pain shows up last. Why do I keep getting tight and sore after my workouts even when I stretch?
Post workout tightness and soreness that does not respond to stretching or recovery is almost always a joint mobility problem. When joints are restricted your body compensates during exercise by recruiting muscles that were not designed for that movement.
